Jennifer Hudson, born on September 12, 1981 on Chicago, Illinois, US, she is a finalist of third season of American Idol (winner Fantasia Barrino),her auditioned is in Atlanta. At the first time she wasn’t voted to the final round, but she got the wild card and put trough on Top 12, and at the Barry Manilow week, she sang “Weekend in New England” and was eliminated.

After American Idol, she cast on the musical-movie Dreamgirls with Beyonce Knowles, Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy. She role as Effie White. Her song that she sang from this movie “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” became a hit and it really show her vocal quality. It was her debut after American Idol. She also won the Academy Award on February 25th 2007 for Best Supporting Actress on Dreamgirls.
After her debut in Dreamgirl, she cast on Sex and the City, she play Louise, the assistant of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker). The movie premiered on May 2008. She also performed Sex and the City Soundtrack “All Dressed in Love”
Jennifer Hudson also play on The Secret Life of Bees, with Dakota Fanning, she play Rosaleen.

Jennifer Hudson is sing “Neither One of Us (Want to Be the First to Say Goodbye), for American Idol Session 3 : Greatest Soul Classic, it’s third season album.
and she also signed with Arista Record and record one song Depreciate.
Jennifer Hudson next debut is a self-titled record released at the end of September 2008 under the Arista Record, her debut single is “Spotlight”
Spotlight is written by Ne-Yo and she also work together with Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Robin Thicke, Harvey Mason,Jr, etc

Jennifer Hudson debut Album is nominated on 2008 Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Performance for “Spotlight”, Best R&B Performance by a Duo of Group with Vocals for I’m His Only Woman, she duet with Fantasia, the winner of American Idol third session, and the next category on Grammy Awards that she got is Best R&B Album for Jennifer Hudson.
