MySpace could be a great place to put your demo tape, a young singer, Adele Laurie Blue Adkins or well known as Adele, born on Tottenham, London, UK on 5th May 1988 got her success by putting her demo tape on MySpace on 2004. After signed to XL Recording, the independent music label, she released her second single “Chasing Pavement” and it was on #2 in the UK Chart for four weeks.

People aoften compare her to another British singer, she is reffered as the new Amy Winehouse, but AllMusic wrote that “Adele is simply too magical to compare her to anyone”.

Her album titled 19 which released on 28th January 2008, and has sold upward of 500.000 copies.

She is nominated at 51st Grammy Award as : Best New Artist, Record of The Year, Song of The Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “Chasing Pavements”
