Stephen Gately died on age 33

Stephen Gately, one of Boyzone personnel died on age 33. during his vacation on the Spanish island of Majorca, with his long-term partner Andrew Cowles. Stephen Gately died at 1.45 in Port Andratx. The news said that Gately was drinking in a bar a night before then went to sleep and failed to wake up. The other group member, Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch also arrived at Spain Island, the statement from the four remaining member of Boyzone : “We’re completely devastated by the lost of our friend and brother, Stephen”
Stephen wast the one of two main vocalist of Boyzone, the other is Ronan Keating. The boyband was split in 2000, and the previous year, Stephen Gately admit that he was a homosexual, then after the split, Gately begin to his solo carrier and released his solo album titled New Beginning. He also performed on Andrew Lloyd Webber – The Royal Albert Hall Celebration and for the Soundtrack of Billy Elliot (2000)
A post mortem for Stephen Gately is due to take place on Tuesday.
