TIGER AIR – THE WORST AIRLINE

By using this website I want to share about my bad experience with TIGER AIR. It was the first time I’m using TIGER AIR and I decided NOT TO USE IT ANYMORE and not recommended it to you.

I booked flight from Jakarta to Singapore on September 2010, on 7 September 2010 Flight number 2273, but at the date I see that many people queuing on tiger air booth, I asked TIGER AIR staff what happened to them and they said that the system was error, but it will be normal for a while. But, finally we found that the flight was OVERBOOKED for about 60 people. CAN YOU IMAGINE ??? IT MEANS THAT ACTUALLY THE FLIGHT IS ALREADY FULL BUT TIGER AIR STILL SELL THE TICKETS.  Oh, I don’t know…. only two possibilities, STUPID or LIAR. STUPID SYSTEM or TIGER AIR ACTUALLY PLANNED TO STEAL MONEY FROM PASSENGERS.

That was very chaotic situation, and then we know that TIGER AIR doesn’t have representative in Jakarta or in any cities in Indonesia, the staff that handling complains in Jakarta is not real TIGER AIR staff, and they have to handle that mess, and doesn’t have authority of anything. I’m sure at that time head office TIGER AIR only smile and sit or they go home and sleep and doesn’t care about the mess.

The people who are the victims of TIGER AIR only got a paper, yeah stupid paper that said that they will got Voucher from TIGER AIR.

and TIGER AIR promised that they will refund my money, and actually I have to received 2 vouchers because I booked for 2 tickets, but they only give me 1 voucher. SO STUPID isn’t they ??? They cannot do a simple math I think. And they promised to refund my money in 3 weeks, but now it’s been 7 months and I didn’t received my money yet.

I write this post because I read many many complains on TIGER AIR page on Facebook, it shows that a large number of people experienced same thing. Well, maybe I will not get my money back, but I will write and write about how STUPID AND UNPROFESSIONAL TIGER AIR IS.

Maybe you can steal my money, TIGER AIR, but you can’t stop me write and wish bad thing about you !!!!!

Another information : when I write my comment on TIGER AIR post on Facebook, they removed my comment, yeah..then I just re-post for many-many times…….

TIGER AIR IS HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED !!!!

  2. I have 2 websites and I will also share that on my website. One time when I flew with tiger from Sydney to Adelaide and when i reached the airport the flight info wasn’t on the departure screen. Then an annoucement was made saying that the flight from sydney to adelaide your gate has changed and they moved from Gate 13 to Gate 51. I have to walk so far and when I reach the gate. 30 mins delay. After 30mins, another 2 mins delay. After that, the flight cancelled and said it was due to engine problems. Bullshit. Now I will ignore that Tiger Airways do exist.

  3. Thank you for this message. We had the same problem 2 month ago from Singapore to Bangkok. No help from Tiger Airways Callcenter, no answer to my letters, No refund and No Flight Vouchers! NEVER FLY TIGER AIRWAYS!

  4. DON’T EVER FLY with this Airline……they are the most unreliable airline in the world…..they cancelled our Sydney flight from 10.00 am to 8.00pm both days even to come back to Brisbane. Impossible to get the line to contact them……refund…maybe ….at least 6 weeks…..THEY SUCK…..

  5. Man, I wish I have seen this two weeks earlier.

    I am now sitting at the Hong Kong International Airport because of an overbooked Tiger Air flight to Singapore.

    Yes, I received that stupid letter too.

    And even worse, they gave me a HKD35 voucher and said I can use it to buy a coffee at StarBucks. But guess what?! The lady at StarBucks said the voucher is not printed w/ a date and thus cant be used. Then I went back to the counter…and then guess what? All stuff are gone!

    Funny! right?
